    PATurnpike.com - April 7, 2024 - On Sunday afternoon, the PA Turnpike was advised of a phishing scam that is targeting E-ZPass account holders requesting personal financial information to settle outstanding toll amounts.

  • VDOT explains why some saw $15 toll charge on I-64

    VDOT responded to why there was an alarming $15 toll price on the I-64 Norfolk Reversible Express Lanes, near Tidewater Drive.

  • MTA Approves Manhattan Congestion Pricing Plan

    Globest.com - April 1, 2024 - The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has approved what it hopes will become the nation’s first congestion pricing system as early as the middle of June for the streets below 60th Street in Manhattan.

    The board of the MTA, which runs the subways and now will administer the new electronically monitored congestion tolls, voted 11-1 on March 27 to authorize the pricing structure. Read more>>

  • Congestion pricing in New York City expected to begin in June

    Landline.media - March 28, 2024 -  It’s official: New York City will be the first city in the United States to establish a congestion pricing program, assuming a federal court does not block the plan before it goes live.

    On Wednesday, March 27, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority board gave final approval for congestion pricing in New York City’s central business district.   • Ohio Turnpike to begin phasing in new toll collection system over next several weeks

    WFMJ.com - March 22, 2024 - The Ohio Turnpike is gearing up to gradually phase in its new updated toll collection system across Ohio over the next several weeks.

    According to a press release, the new toll collection system will feature a combination of open road tolling lanes for E-Z Pass customers and a gated exit system for customers who prefer to pay by cash or credit card.

    The switch to the new system began in 2023, with the first phase permanently opening the entry gates in all E-Z Pass lanes at 20 interchanges from toll plaza 52 in Toledo to toll plaza 259 in Warren. Read more >>
