The
E-ZPass Interagency Group (IAG) is in the process of developing a
Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify a vendor to provide
Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) technology and associated system
components and services for IAG members to continue operating
E-ZPass as a regionally interoperable ETC system. During this
development, a preliminary document was inadvertently disclosed to
unauthorized parties. In the interest of fair and open disclosure
of information, this document is being posted on the E-ZPass
Interagency Group’s website for informational purposes to those who
are anticipated to be prospective proposers and any other parties
that may have any interest therein.
Please be advised
that this inadvertently disclosed document represents one person’s
analysis of work-in-progress by the IAG Technical Committee to
establish subcategories for evaluation of the technical proposal
section of proposers’ responses to the RFP. The views expressed
therein may not represent the views of IAG members and this document
does not represent the final position of the IAG members with
respect to this aspect of this procurement. The IAG members do not
represent or warrant that the content of the material contained in
the posted document is accurate, complete or current for any purpose
whatsoever, and do not recommend the use of this information for any
particular purpose.
Prospective
proposers are further advised that this information is posted on the
E-ZPass IAG website as a matter of convenience. Once the RFP is
ready to be released to the marketplace, all notices and documents
related to this procurement will be issued and distributed by the
Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority in its role as host
procurement authority for this joint IAG procurement process.
Therefore, prospective proposers should not rely on this E-ZPass IAG
website as an ongoing source of information about this procurement.
Solely for
the purpose of requesting to be included in the bidders’ list for
this RFP, interested parties may contact Mr. Lynn Gore, Procurement
Coordinator, at lgore@mtabt.org. Mr. Gore will provide
notice to the parties on the bidders’ list when the RFP is ready for
release, including instructions pertaining to how to obtain the RFP.
