E-ZPass is an electronic toll collection system that allows vehicles equipped with an E-ZPass tag the ability to drive through designated toll lanes without the need to stop and manually pay a toll. An E-ZPass tag is about the size of an audio cassette tape. It is a battery-powered device that can be mounted on the (with adhesive strips provided) to the interior of a vehicle windshield (or sometimes to the exterior front license plate depending on the make or model of your vehicle). Each time a customer drives through an E-ZPass equipped lane, the toll is automatically deducted from their prepaid account.

  14. To open an E-ZPass account, a minimum opening balance of $25.00 is required. An E-ZPass account holder is encouraged to post a credit card to ensure replenishment whenever a prepaid balance falls below 25%. You can establish an account and replenish it by check or cash.
